President, Founder, & Owner
Although SeeVirtual services many industries, the Company’s roots are tied to Real Estate. Rick Dubord began his real estate career in 1973. After three decades enveloped in Canada’s real estate market, Rick has developed an unparalleled understanding of the business and the challenges facing the industry. In 2000, Rick founded SeeVirtual after seeing the Virtual Tour technology at the Inman conference in San Francisco. Upon returning to BC he quickly introduced Greater Vancouver’s real estate industry to the value of virtual tours and quickly grew the Company to become the largest virtual tour provider in Western Canada; providing virtual tour and Internet marketing services across multiple industries.
Rick combines his passions for technology and Canada’s real estate market to keep his agents and companies ahead of the curve. He has also founded Nuance Systems, a complementary business to SeeVirtual, to make the entire real estate transaction electronic. His Cloverdale office is the first paperless real estate office in Canada.
Rick is happily married to Joan for 33 years and has 3 daughters-Robyn, Lisa, and Danielle. Rick’s hobbies include exercise, hot yoga, golf, horse back riding, and reading.
